Some information about our troop and activities we like to participate in:
- We are boy led, with adult leaders facilitating the program by providing guidance and advice.
- Troop 940 is more of a high adventure type of troop with many camp outs and camping events
- Hiking and Backpacking while camping in the wilderness are common in our Troop
- Rappelling outings at least once if not twice a year as we have troop gear and instructors
- Shooting Outing is a core outing during the season
- Via Ferratta is a core outing as well the boys can work their way up the course as their age and skills allow them to progress.
- Patrol specific planned outing in their smaller groups
- We Summer Camp a distance away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains at a rustic summer camp where they can un-plug and enjoy being boys during summertime.
